Profile:

Mark Perry was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. from St. Bonaventure University, magna cum laude, in 1983, and his J.D. from The National Law Center of George Washington University, with honors, in 1986. Mr. Perry practiced law with Phillips, Lytle, LLP, in Buffalo, New York, from 1986 through 1991. In 1998, he founded The Perry Law Firm.

Mr. Perry is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Requirements for board certification include substantial involvement in trials and settlements, participation in continued legal education, a reputation among judges and other lawyers for competence, and successful completion of a written examination.

Mr. Perry is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded by this preeminent legal resource. An AV rating indicates legal ability and ethical standards of the highest order. All Martindale-Hubbell ratings are based upon confidential, objective peer review.

A substantial portion of Mr. Perry’s practice is dedicated to the litigation of complex professional liability claims. Mr. Perry has represented physicians and hospitals in northeastern and central Pennsylvania in hundreds of cases in both state and federal courts. He has successfully defended hospitals and physicians in virtually every specialty of complex medical negligence litigation.

Mr. Perry has been selected by Philadelphia Magazine as a “Super Lawyer” in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Mr. Perry received the 2010 Exemplary Service Award from The Lackawanna County Bar Association.
