Mark Perry is Awarded Exemplary Service Award by the Lackawanna County Bar Association
At its annual meeting which was held January 13, 2011, the Lackawanna County Bar Association awarded Mark Perry with its Exemplary Service Award for 2010. The award is given annually to members of the Bar in recognition for longstanding dedication and faithful service to the profession, community, and the Lackawanna County Bar Association. Mark was recognized particularly for his work in helping to unite the legal and medical communities in Lackawanna County. Mark was a member of the Board of Directors of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Medical Education Consortium, which is the entity that founded and developed The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC). During 2010, Mark was instrumental in starting a program sponsored by TCMC for the LBA in which local attorneys presented a series of lectures to medical students regarding current medical/legal issues. Mark addressed the TCMC students in October on the subject “Modern Trends in Risk Management.”
