The
Perry Law Firm, LLC is pleased to announce that Paul
J. Wylam, Esq. has been named Managing Partner and that
Michael T. Blazick, Esq. and Elizabeth A. Scoblick,
Esq. have joined the firm.
PAUL
J. WYLAM
A native of Scranton, Atty. Wylam has been with The
Perry Law Firm since 1999. His practice is primarily
focused on medical malpractice defense representing
physicians, physician groups and hospitals within Northeastern
and Central Pennsylvania. He has also served as defense
counsel for several national retail stores. For the
second year in a row, Atty. Wylam was selected as a
Pennsylvania Rising Star as featured in the December
2006 issue of Philadelphia Magazine, Pennsylvania Super
Lawyers — Rising Star Edition. Atty. Wylam resides
in Clarks Summit with his wife the former former Kimberly
Duffy and their two children.
MICHAEL
T. BLAZICK
Atty. Blazick has recently joined The Perry Law Firm,
LLC as an associate. A native of Wilkes-Barre, Mr. Blazick
is a graduate of Susquehanna University and The Temple
University School of Law. Atty. Blazick began his legal
career as a law clerk for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania
with the Honorable John T. J. Kelly, Jr. After completing
his appellate clerkship in 1999, he joined a large Philadelphia
law firm where he specialized in litigation of insurance
coverage disputes, medical malpractice, products liability
and general casualty cases. He has experience representing
physicians, physician groups, hospitals, product manufacturers
and insurance companies, insurance bad faith claims
and general casualty. Atty. Blazick resides in Mountaintop
with his wife Kate and their two children.
ELIZABETH
A. SCOBLICK
Atty. Scoblick graduated from the University of Scranton
in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in English and History.
Atty. Scoblick received her Juris Doctor degree in 2005
from the Pennsylvania Bar in October 2005. Prior to
joining The Perry Law Firm as an associate, she served
as the law clerk for the Honorable Vito P. Geroulo in
the Court of Common Pleas of Lackawanna County. She
is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania
Bar Association and the Lackawanna County Bar Association.
Atty. Scoblick resides in Clarks Summit. Originally
established in 1998 as a solo practice, The Perry Law
Firm, LLC has grown to a firm of 11 attorneys with offices
in Scranton and Bethlehem. The firm's attorneys and
paralegals provide legal services to clients in a wide
variety of specialties including Professional Liability,
Health Law, Employment & Labor Law, Immigration
Law, Insurance Defense, Insurance Bad Faith Claims,
Commercial and Construction Litigation, with a particular
emphasis devoted to the defense of health care providers
in malpractice litigation.
