The Perry Law Firm, L.L.C. names Amy A. Shwed partner to the firm.
The Perry Law Firm, L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Amy A. Shwed, Esquire, has been elected partner.
Attorney Shwed has been a member of the firm since April 2005. Ms. Shwed is a graduate of College Misericordia. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan, in 1991. Ms. Shwed is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Luzerne and Lackawanna County Bar Association, and has been the recipient of two community service awards for her work with domestic violence victims. Ms. Shwed joined The Perry Law Firm, L.L.C. after more than a decade of service as a Deputy District Attorney for Lackawanna County. In addition to her responsibilities at The Perry Law Firm, Attorney Shwed currently serves as the Solicitor of the Dunmore Zoning Board. She has continued to use her 15 years of trial experience to successfully defend physicians in medical malpractice trials and litigation. Ms. Shwed possesses extensive experience in civil, personal injury and insurance litigation.
Ms. Shwed currently resides in Scranton.
